A bit about Dr Andrew
"If information alone was enough, everyone could simply read the textbook or ask AI."
My interest in professional development and media engagement comes partly from having sat through a lot of it myself. While there's plenty of training available, much of it is boring.
The challenge is helping people engage with ideas, think differently, and leave with something they couldn't have got from just reading.
My presentations blend evidence, clinical experience, and the occasional tangent into topics I finds genuinely interesting. I often draws connections between psychology, philosophy, clinical work, and my own existential dread.
What the PD is built around
Engaging, not dry
Training that actually holds your attention. If it puts you to sleep, it hasn't done its job.
Depth, done clearly
Real ideas from psychology, Buddhist thought, and clinical work, explained without the jargon or the fluff.
For early-career psychs
Pitched especially at provisional and newly-registered psychologists who want PD worth their time.
